Born and raised in Utah, Dr. Henderson has always been an active individual with a particular love for gymnastics and track and field. She was a collegiate athlete competing in the 400 meter and pole vault on University of Utah’s track and field team. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Utah, she pursued a Master’s in Bioengineering at Syracuse University, where she developed an appreciation for the intersection of medicine and technology. Driven by her desire to make a difference in patients’ lives, she subsequently returned to the University of Utah for medical school and her family medicine residency and completed a fellowship in sports medicine at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth, Texas.

Following the completion of her training, Dr. Henderson began practicing in Olympia, Washington in 2014 where she has remained committed to furthering her knowledge and skills in sports medicine. With specialized training in ultrasound-guided treatments, PRP and BMAC injections, and other minimally invasive techniques, she is able to offer patients a full range of options for treating sports injuries and other conditions. She has been devoted to helping patients of all ages overcome sports-related and other musculoskeletal injuries and maintain their active lifestyles. In addition to her expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Henderson is passionate about providing patient-centered care. She takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns and goals, and works closely with them to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs. Her approach is always holistic, taking into account each patient’s unique medical history, lifestyle, and preferences.

When she’s not working with patients, Dr. Henderson enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and spending quality time with her husband and two children. As she begins a new practice in the Fort Worth area, she is excited to continue helping patients achieve their best possible health outcomes and maintain their active lifestyles.
