Jaimie Story, PA-C

Jaimie was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon but found her love for Fort Worth early on in her high school years through horse showing. She attended Southridge High School in Oregon where she was involved in soccer and the equestrian team. She has always had a love for the world of athletics and was drawn to seeking a career that would combine her passion for serving others and her love for sports and medicine.

She was recruited to New Mexico State University on scholarship for their D1 Equestrian team and pursued her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. While there, she continued to immerse herself in the world of sports medicine by being a tutor for Kinesiology classes, completing medical internships, and shadowing Orthopedic doctors. She also actively served on the student athletic leadership board and completed over 500 hours of community service with local sports organizations. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in December of 2016 with plans to complete her senior equestrian season. However, a severe injury unexpectedly ended her collegiate athletic career early. It was this life event, though, that solidified her desire to serve others through medicine in the same way that she had experienced.

Still clinging to her love for Fort Worth, Jaimie chose to attend PA school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She rotated with Dr. Dolce and Kelley as a student, which furthered her goal to be in the sports medicine field. She graduated with her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021. She pursued orthopedic medicine and began working in a joint replacement and orthopedic oncology specialty immediately following graduation. She then joined Fort Worth Orthopedics in March of 2022.

Jaimie assists in both patient care in the clinic as well as in surgeries. Her desire is for her patients to be treated as if they were family and to provide a patient-focused approach. In her spare time, Jaimie enjoys being involved with her church, working out, watching sports, being on the lake, riding horses, and spending time with her dog and family.
